The Best Apple Cobbler
A comforting classic with tender apples and golden syrop

Ingredients
9 medium apples
20 cl water
50 g coconut blossom sugar
1 Tablespoon cornstarch
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
pinch of salt
125 g all-purpose flour
150 g granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
pinch of salt
183 ml of milk
85 gr butter
ground cinnamon for topping
Preheat the oven to 180°F and grease a 23×33cm pan.
Peel and slice the apples.
In a saucepan, stir together the coconut blossom sugar, water, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Add in apples. Cook over medium heat for 5 to 10 minutes, and keep stirring.




Pour mixture into the greased pan.
In a large bowl mix together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in the milk and melted butter, just until blended.
Pour the mixture over the apples in the pan. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon.
Bake for about 40 minutes.



You can serve warm with vanilla ice cream, or just on its own.
